Applying for Medicare

Yes, the transition to Medicare can be confusing. I’ll walk you through all the steps necessary to get you there. My process will show you how to apply for Medicare and what your Medicare benefits are.

Consultation

I never charge for a consultation and I will meet with you face to face. We can meet at your home, my office, library or a coffee shop. As a Minnesota Medicare broker, I can offer unbiased information about the Medicare program. Through consultation, we will determine what Medicare insurance is best for you. Should you have a Medicare Advantage plan or original Medicare with a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) and standalone prescription drug plan? We will look at all the Medicare plan designs sold in Minnesota. Not all agents will do that for you. As a Local Minnesota Medicare broker, I will give you choices!

Pricing

There’s more to choosing Medicare coverage than price alone. Which doctors would you like to access, plan networks, your health status and medications will determine which plan and insurance company will provide the right coverage for you.

Ongoing Guidance and Support

If you decide to go with a Medicare Advantage plan, networks, formularies and plans benefits can change from year to year. I’ll continue to monitor your plan for changes and help you make any adjustments that may be needed.

Advocacy

Part of my service is support. If there’s ever a need to question a claim, I’ll be there to help. I know who to call and the questions to ask to make sure you are treated fairly.
